Cloudwheel Drive Pulleys for Evolve Skateboards

Designed to allow Evolve Skateboard riders to change the drive ratio for Cloudwheel Discovery wheels. I've used these on an Evolve Carbon GTR and Cloudwheel Discovery 120mm wheels, but they will suit other Evolve boards as well and may suit newer Cloudwheels if they have the same spoke pattern.

SAFETY WARNING: Using a smaller pulley will increase top speed at the cost of reduced acceleration and deceleration.

The print profile includes several different pulley sizes, so you can pick the one you want. You will need to find suitable length belts to suit the pulleys, particularly for the 34T and 36T sizes as these are not standard. The pulleys will suit 15mm Wide HTD5M or GT3 belts.

All pulleys require a drive gear bearing. These can be purchased from Evolve, or you can re-use the ones that came with the Cloudwheels. 6900-ZZ (shielded) or 6900-2RS (sealed) bearings should also be suitable.

Print Materials

I recommend ABS or ASA for these pulleys. My first set were Tough PLA, and after riding for a few months the teeth had almost worn away. I've also tried PETG, and they seemed to work fine but made squeaky noises.

Final Disclaimer

While I have used these pulleys on my skateboard previously, I have sold that board and the Cloudwheels with it. That's why I can't post any pictures of the pulleys installed on a board with wheels!
