3D Printed 'On Air' Light Box – Ideal for Streamers, Podcasters, and Studios

This was a fun little after-noon design. Modeled with a retro design in mind, this ‘On-Air’ desktop LED sign is great for anyone's setup! 5V LED COB strips can be used for the lights. I wired the light strips to a USB cable so it can be powered from my laptop, perfect for a mobile podcast setup!
12/16/2024: uploaded a thinner faceplate in the raw files to allow for more light to pass through.
PRINTING
- The main body is split into parts to allow for optimal printing, resulting in a better quality print.
- The ‘On Air’ plate is printed with 2 colors using the AMS. I recommend 10 Bottom or Top walls and 0% infill for the best light diffusion. Supports are required for the edges that glue to the inside of the main frame.
- Example in pictures were printed using Charcoal Black Matte PLA, Silver Silk PLA, and Red PLA+.
