Description
Remixed Belt-Driven Z-Axis Mod for BIQU B1
This is my adaptation of the Belt-Driven Z Mod originally designed for the Ender 3 by Kevin Akasam (link to original mod). I modified the design to fit the BigTreeTech BIQU B1 printer using a belt-driven Z-axis kit from Aliexpress (kit link).
Changes and Adaptations:
- Right Bracket (V3.7)
- Adjusted the bolt location inside the bracket, moving it 0.5 mm further from the extrusion for proper alignment.
- Bottom Part
- Redesigned to ensure it could be securely mounted on the BIQU B1's extrusions.
- Z-Endstop Switch
- Fixed using the left screw of the clamp mounted on the left plate, positioned close to the extruder.
- Z-Endstop Adjustment Screw
- Utilized the right screw from the bottom part and added approximately four washers for proper alignment with the switch.
Notes:
The kit I used was a great fit overall and required minimal modifications beyond the changes listed above.
If you're looking to upgrade your BIQU B1 with a belt-driven Z-axis, this remix provides a practical solution.
