Description

Protect the screen and add a retro, nostalgic touch to your A1 mini

Give your Bambu Lab A1 mini 3D printer a retro twist with this screen protector and bumper case, designed to look like the iconic original Apple Macintosh! This protective case not only adds a retro vibe but also keeps the printer’s screen safe from accidental bumps with raised edges around the screen.

Filament Notes:

  • I printed mine with white eSun PLA+ but I recommend that you try printing this with matte Bone White filament (I sadly didn’t have any on hand).
  • I used a black insulation tape to hide the Bambu logo shining from behind the floppy drive slot, but this is optional.
  • I kept the tolerances slightly loose to account for different filaments. If anyone runs into issues with the fit, let me know—I can post a version with tighter tolerances to help with that.

Ty! It’s Polymaker Polyterra “Fossil Grey”. I have 2 A1 minis and 1 A1 and I pretty much only use Polymaker PLA. Really good stuff

Am impressed and delighted. Printed and fitted perfectly. Looks really great. Huge nostalgia value as this was the very first Mac that i bought and that was in 1984. Actually saw one in a museum the other day - wish that I'd kept mine. Those days of next to zero memory and disk swapping for system, application and saving. Unbelievable.

Great print, thanks for sharing. Amazing that you actually got to use the 1984 Macintosh, something that most people can only dream about!

funny and good looking design, unfortunatelly I dont have a mini. Try bambu lab - basic pla - light grey for a perfect color match to the printer's plastic.

Thanks, will give that a try. I was actually looking for a filament that would match the printer's plastic!
