Battery box with tester
Print Profile(1)

Description
This AA battery box contains the BT-168 PRO battery tester. The advantage of this tester is that it does not require an additional battery to operate. It is not limited to just AA batteries; it can check any battery up to 4.8V. The lid of the box has values that help you easily determine if the AA batteries are charged to approximately 100%-50%-0%. This allows you to find out whether a battery is completely new, used, or completely drained. One benefit of this box is that you can instantly check the battery status directly on the box where your batteries are stored. A small screwdriver is all you need to insert the electronics. It's really not complicated.
The tester can be easily disassembled. The display is loosely inserted and held in place by the printed circuit board. Remove the metal contacts for measuring voltage, but be careful as they are connected to the circuit by a wire. You won't need anything else from the tester.
To assemble the box, you'll need glue and some small screws. Glue is required for the front label, hinges, the minus pole tower, and the battery compartment cover. You can also use glue for other parts, such as labels or the holder for the positive pole.
Five screws hold the bottom cover of the lid, allowing access to the electronics whenever needed.
There are no instructions for assembling the box. The display and electronics fit in the same space as in the BT-168 Pro. Just remove the electronics and insert them back in the same way. The contacts fit into the towers. Both contacts have different shapes, making it easy to identify which tower they belong to. The minus pole tower is fixed in place with glue. The positive pole tower moves in a groove and is held in place by the tower holder at the bottom. The top part of the hinge has grooves prepared in the lid. The bottom part of the hinge is glued directly onto the box.

Due to the modification of the printed circuit board in BT-168 I'm adding a modified cover to it.
