Description

I saw this medal wall hanger and improved it for my needs (bigger/no assembly). This version is designed for 80mm diameter medals - the display is 80x140mm.

The first and most important point for me was that it wont need glue or anything else to assemble. As I was redesigning this medal display I also added a stand so you can put it up on a shelf or on your desk to look at.

For the wallhanger I added screw holes if you dont want to rely on double sided tape.

I really appreciate the minimalistic approach from the original model but it changed a lot so it's not a real remix anymore.

The medal band can be fix with a standard rubberband at the back which works perfect.

I've already left a review but il leave another since I missed a few bits out. As I mentioned in my other review that I made it smaller well the hole for the ribbon to go through also got smaller so its a bit of a pain to thread it through but its still possible. The pic below is what I use to fasten the ribbon at the back(small hair bobbles for platts/braids) and the writing on the pad is the measurements for my smaller version.

the trouble having is 1 the slot gets smaller when I reduce the size and 2 the space at the back to hide the ribbon isnt big enough so some are leaning forward habit. not sure how il do but im going to try and create a wall that lays on a small rising angle that will hold 3 lots of 5(3 rows,5 in each row).

Hi, can you give me the absloute measurements (please add mm or inch)? So width and height as well as the width of the band you need for you medals? I can adjust it really quick and upload is as another print profile. Scaling won't do you any good as for tolerances etc.

printed beautifuly and slotted perfectly. I taped the ribbon and then stuffed all the excess in the area between the two parts. it’s perfect for displaying. going to scale down the next one for a smaller medal
