Description
This is a simple filament spool splitter, designed to use with the remainder of an unfinished spool that is taking up space in your AMS.
For me, it has been useful as a slot for draft work, where I don't care if the print runs out before the roll ends. I just switch to the next row and continue.
Please let me know if you like the print. If there is interest for this, then I will be happy to continue to make changes and take on feedback.
Change Notes:
- Increase inner ring width to last over time.
After several uses, it was not quite thick enough to hold the edge of filament on initial winding. - Redesigned filament clip to be bigger and more durable.
- Fixed tooth connection that was broken during last revision update. As well as fixing, I have bevelled it to better to allow the inset brim to make a better connection.

hi, if this is supposed to fit, it does not. the teeth is too big even in the cad data. also the filament holder is impossible to print nicely with such an overhang. at least at my X1C. needs redesign.

Looks like you have a smearing issue on the first layer, the outer brim should be a perfect circle. What material/profile are you using?

well, this is not about the circle but about the teeth. is m sure you will see it, if you will check the 3D files.

Hey, my deepest apologies. I was confused as it was a perfect fit for me. I see now I must have accidentally adjusted the edge length of the tooth in a previous revision when altering the clip and forgotten to test. I have corrected this now and updated the print profile. I hope you try again but understand if you do not want to bother. Thanks again for the feedback as it has helped me solve the issue.

As others have said, the tabs do not fit. I cut them off and the print is usable. Not the the best design. I have a P1S.

The print profile is no longer public
though it initially seemed to turn out great, the notches and tabs didn't fit and will require quite of a bit of adjustment to make work
