Filament Roll Deflection

In connection with my

deflection roller IKEA LACK (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6023827)

I realised that the filament is always fed into the extruder at an angle. That's why I designed this deflection roller for the Prusa, which can move back and forth on a rod (dancer roller) so that the filament is always fed in vertically from above.

Thanks to the built-in ball bearings, the construction is very smooth-running. (The photos were not taken during a print!)

Parts:

approx. 31cm aluminium rod 10mm diameter

2X M5 screw

3X bearing MR115-2RS metal rubber sealed ball bearing (511 4mm)

Attention, pay attention to the alignment when slicing and work with support, although the component is not mechanically heavily loaded.
