Car Napkin Holder - Fast Food Edition

Every time I'm on the road, I make it a point to save any fast food napkins, or if I stop inside a gas station, I'll always grab a small stack of napkins. You can never have too many napkins in the car. The problem is, every time they start as a nice, neat stack, and end up a jumbled pile of folded napkins filling my glove box. That's why I created a convenient napkin dispenser that will fit a wide range of fast food and convenience store napkins.

I've created 2 different size napkin dispensers to fit most napkins you'll find on the road, and also to accommodate different glove box needs.

Napkin Sizes

Small Box: 4 ¼"X6-5/8" (108mmX168mm) - Generally found at Dunkin Donuts and some gas stations.

Large Box: 5"X6-5/8" (127mmX168mm) - Typically found at most popular chains like Chipotle and Wendy's.

*You can still fit the larger napkins in the smaller container, you just won't be able to stack as many in.

Aside from the different sized napkin options, I've also included 3 different container height options. If you have a small glove box, you may want to print the short version. If you have a vehicle with a deep center console, you could print the tall option to hold the maximum amount of napkins.

Napkin thickness and quality varies greatly, so the amount of napkins you can comfortably fit in each box will vary. For general guidelines, here are the results I found:

Napkin quantity

Short Box: 25-30 napkins

Medium Box: 50-60 napkins

Tall Box: 80-90 napkins

The lids are designed to snap on and hold nicely as long as your machine is dialed in. As this item is meant to be used in a vehicle, you need to print in a minimum of PETG Plastic, but ABS or ASA are the best options to avoid warping.
