Description

Friend of mine lost his air vent, and Ford doesnt sell the part by itself, only the whole door assembly, so I tried my hand at a replica.

Printed in ASA to stand up to the hot Texas sun.

I had to heavily hair spray the PEI plate, upped plate temp to 100, and added inner and outer brims to get it to hold well enough to print. Turned out pretty good in the end.

Snaps into the hole very snugly, good luck getting it out. Would recommend dry fitting with PLA if you are worried, and a screw driver from the window side can pop it free. The ASA may not be as easy to remove!

Variable layer height at the top helps the finish turn out real nice, and avoid the steep layer lines at the visible portion.
