Description

I needed to put in an access panel to get to some piping and didn't want to buy one from Home Depot for 10 or 20 bucks (according to Bambu Slicer's default settings this should cost under <$2 using PLA). This access panel is 7"x7"x ~½" (178x178mm). It has kind of a raised panel look with a roman ogee style edge. I slightly filleted the corners; this keeps them from breaking off and it makes it less likely to warp. The screw holes are ~1/8th" with a countersunk top. This is so if you want you can fill them in or paint over them without the screws being proud of the surface.

Strength Issue:broke when trying to install

If you overtorqued your screws or used screws that were too large that’s not an issue with the model, that’s user error. Its a pretty fool proof what you see is what you get model. If you’re using as intended you don’t want to be over-torquing it and stripping your holes either so you can reinstall it when needed.
