Description
A modification to Jakadels original idea (Amazing btw). I felt the wood screws just placed to much outward pressure on the glass.
- I removed the wood screws and went with four M3x12mm screws and a thin mount plate on the back side. This remix transfers all the pressure to the mount plate with a nice gentle hug on the glass. Mount plate is not threaded, you will be pressure tapping it so don't go all crazy screwing into it and then strip it out. Also please hold the mount plate firm to the glass door when tapping it, the thin design can twist under rotation pressure.
- I enlarged the holes to accommodate the M3x12 screws
- I elongated the adjustable track guides to allow for more range (Might have not been necessary but what's done is done)
- I used M3x6mm screws to attach to this hinge to the printers metal bracket (Jakadels original design used M3x5mm, which works just fine)
This is my first Maker World upload and Remix. The 3mf is tested. Hope it all goes to plan.
