Description

Wanted a holder for my Xbox controller that would grip it tightly and couldnt find one. The Hook Desigh comes curtesy of @KTP_117139: https://www.printables.com/de/model/74530-ikea-skadis-caliper-holder. This Design is a tight fit, so you might have to iterate by scaling along Z, but it is the most reliable I have found.

I don’t even own a SKÅDIS 😄 I was looking for a controller holder where the controller actually locks in – not one of those “it’s kind of sitting there” solutions. We run two Xbox controllers for two iPads (Roblox etc.), so they’re labeled I and II. Otherwise every session starts with a boss fight in the Bluetooth menu. Unfortunately, there are people in this house with a maxed-out Cleaning Skill Tree and very little respect for gamer logistics. Result: controllers constantly missing. Solution: a fixed spot on the inside of a sideboard door. Requirement: no falling out, even when the door is opened aggressively. So I grabbed the STL, opened it in Fusion 360, removed the SKÅDIS mount and added an angled wall plate with 4 countersunk screw holes plus a small top extension for Roman numerals. Scaled to 102% in the slicer – now the controllers sit perfectly tight and can only be removed with a bit of “skill input”. Awesome design – thanks for sharing! 🎮👌

Perfect fit! Used Bambu Basic Green PLA that came with my printer and it looks amazing The only downside is the hook design is not tight enough and can be removed easily
