Description

AMS Lite Feeder Unit Mounting Plate for Sunlu S4 Filament Dryer

This 3D model is designed to streamline your filament management system by mounting the AMS Lite Feeder Unit directly onto the Sunlu S4 Filament Dryer. This solution is perfect for those looking to optimize their 3D printing setup with a compact, efficient configuration.

The photos showcase the fully assembled setup, integrating both the mounting plate and wall mount for easy installation and use.

The mounting plate comes with four holes compatible with M3 4x5 hot melt insert nuts, ensuring a secure fit and inabling installation in 2 orientations. Each hole for threaded inserts is designed with extra walls to provide enouph material to melt

Additionally, the package includes a modified wall mount, originally designed by Penguin_holic. The modification features new M3x12 cylindrical head screw holes, while retaining the robust and functional design of the original model.

The mounting plate has a 217x194 dimention. It can fit a print table of A1 in horisontal orientation, but I would recommend to print it vertically to make part stronger against bending. Feeder mount adapter can be printed on A1mini , when rotated to 45°

Please note, the mounting plate is not symmetrical, one site shold face the transparent front of the Sunlu S4 filament dryer

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The model is designed to fit snugly with the Sunlu Filadryer (see last photo). I've included some additional tolerances, but depending on your printer, the fit might still be a bit tight.

To ensure a proper fit, I recommend printing a 1 cm test piece of the mounting plate first. Try it on your dryer. If it's too tight or shows signs of bending, adjust the scale by about 1% in the relevant direction and try again.
