The Crane Bed Stand
This is “The Crane Bed Stand”. Do you get “Carpal Tunnel” when browsing on your tablet ? Does your hand go numb when you play on your mobile device ? You play on your tablet using your controller and you don't know how to hold the tablet/phone. Well now with a bit of a long print ( 10h ) you can forget about all of those inconvenience.
No additional hardware required, only 3d print and good to go. Can fit most of the devices with the case on. If need an additional strength you can ad elastic bands on the side of the winch an issue solved. For heavier devices you may require metal bolts for the joints.
It can work as a stand for desk or bed, it has multipurpose use. It requires no gluing or other processes. Can be unmounted and mounted easily in different configurations for your desire. If unmounted you can easily carried in a backpack.
Suggestion:
- Adjust the stand before inserting your device for the required angle.
- Avoid for the lower arm to go in an angle less than 45°.
For heavier devices I suggest metal bolts for a better grip. ( Will provide techincal drawing )
*UPDATE: Fixed the Bolts with a stronger connection. Fixes most of the issues I had with the print.
