Description
This is one of a number of parts that I created for the Valentine typewriter and its case. This is a classic manual typewriter, much-loved by many for the striking retro-modern looks. Some of the parts, over time, come away and get lost. I test fitted them onto an example case that I had, and it worked on that - however - I have noticed that there is some variation in the cases and so your mileage may vary.
Printing
This clearly looks best with a red filament! I used the Bambu Labs tough “Vermillion Red” and while close was a bit light / bright. The textured bed gives a very close texture to the original plastic. You need six for the whole set on the case.
Installation
It should press in flush, and NOT really stay there on its own. You will need a tiny dot of glue or something to hold it in. I wouldn't use anything too strong, like superglue, just an ordinary clear craft glue would be fine. The point is that it is removable potentially at a later date.
Final Thoughts
- I have other typewriter parts and non-typewriter things too, check out my other stuff!
- Please leave a like if you think this is cool, thanks!
