Print Profile(0)
Description
Little BTT mini 12864 display case to be able to mount it onto the RatRig V-minion 3D printer or any other (currently) 3030 extrusion frame. STEP files included in case you want to make some alterations.
Parts needed:
- BTT mini 12864 display.
- x6 M3 heat inserts 5mm OD, 4mm length.
- x4 M3x8 screws.
- x2 M3x12 screws.
- x1 M6 T-slot nut.
- x1 M6x12 screw.
Printing:
The “Display Case - Front” file comes with 2 single wall tabs that act as a support for the SD card slot. They can be left in the model and printed as is and then snapped off or split from the object before printing.
Assembly:

After inserting all the heat inserts, you will want to mount the “Display Case Mount” to the “Display Case - Back” with the M3x12 screws.
Take a moment to route the EXT1 & 2 cables through the hole in the back of the “Display Case - Back” before mounting it to the frame so you don’t have to fiddle with them later on.
Attach the assembly to your frame. There should be enough space through the EXT1 & 2 slot to get an allen wrench through. Use the M6x12 screw and T-nut, or whichever hardware you prefer (you might have to alter the “Display Case Mount” if you plan to use M5 or smaller screws).
Connect the display and sandwich it between the “Display Case - Back” and “Display Case - Front”, fastening it with the M3x8 screws.
