Summary
Designed for my friend Ron who likes kites.
There are various connectors and tips designed for different styles of kites in two different spar sizes. The first is 6.35mm which is basically a 1/4 inch dowel and the the other is 9.53mm which is a 3/9 inch dowel. (If working with the 6.35mm size, bamboo plant stakes are an inexpensive option.)
In the .3mf file, the kite connectors are grouped by the type of kite. If you need a different size, use your slicer to scale and then test by printing short stubs.
When printing connectors for a delta kite, be sure that you match the correct spar angle with the leading edge angle you have chosen. A leading edge angle of 90 degrees take a side spar with an angle of 45 degrees. A leading edge of 96 degrees takes a side spar of 42 degrees.
