Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE PRINTING!!!
The 3MF for this model is optimized for multicolor. It is set up and ready to go. The eyes will look weird until it is sliced as I had to move the eye parts around to get them to render correctly after slicing. Do not move these parts if you are printing multicolor. Moving the parts around in the process list would not fix this issue. The current config does fix it. If you are printing this in single color, please download the included STL file and import that into Bambu Studio. Please reference the included pictures below to see the multicolor before and after slicing examples.

How the colored model will appear in Bambu Studio before and after slicing:

With that out of the way, this is a high poly, high detail model of Lugia. It is probably one of the most meticulously sculpted models I have made so far, as I have individually modeled each colored part separately in order to improve how the colors look. This is because when the model is one solid piece and the colors are painted on, the edges of the colors feather out and become jagged in slicing and it is almost impossible to get crisp boundaries between colors. This model was specifically made to have the cleanest color transitions possible with no detail being sacrificed. This is definitely meant to be a display piece and takes a lot of time to print, and the cleanness makes it worth it in my opinion. Use the most solid white filament you have for the body and do not edit the 3MF to flush into infill.

I really hope you enjoy this model. I have been tinkering with it for months now and am glad to have it completed and printed. I had to print it multiple times to make sure everything works correctly and nothing was going to fail, and I'm pretty confident you won't run into any issues with it if you print it as-is as this model did not fail a single time I printed it. The undersides can get a little rough where the supports are attached but this is very hard notice once it is displayed.
