a very tiny little master key. mine doesn't shoot amazingly right now because I am using a hair tie instead of elastic cord, but with elastic cord it gets about 60 FPS

how do u get 60 fps from a hair tie

Replying to @gimkid :
the hair tie eventually broke, so I replaced it with elastic cord and that made it dramatic improvement to get it to be about 50 to 60 FPS. with the hair tie it probably got 30

I'm struggling to get mine to shoot. Ant tips? I'm using 4mm elastic cord. Print looks clean, but the darts hangs up and never launches.

You can try a different dart, ensure its tip is smaller than the foam. When inserted, it is not placed too close to the string catch area.

your darts might just be really worn and soft, stringers are very picky on darts

question: can I just cut a nerf dart and it will work or does it need specialized ammo

yes you can cut the nerf dart into half, but take note that some long dart have wider dart head so may brush the "tunnel" in result of fail shooting

thanks man although not sure if I'll ever get around to printing because my slicer estimates it at 4 hours on my ender 3 pro plus I might have to slow it down because I've been having recent underextrusion problems with extruder tension being too high

Hi Zakojaz, could you explain clearer how do you assemble the holding pin and trigger together with the elastic cord? There are no clear pictures/gif for me to understand. Thank you
