Soda Can Opener
This is the second version of one of my most useful and popular models.
I created the original model to help people with long nails. However, I discovered that many others, including those with arthritis and other dexterity or motor issues, also found it useful.
Features:
New Design: Prints completely flat and without support.
Larger Keychain Hole
More compact size
Wider Design: Better covers the can opening to keep bees out.
Optional Longer Handle: Provides even more ease of use for some people.
Additional Features: Various other improvements.
Print Settings:
The models have been tested with these settings, and they are recommended.
Orientation: Print flat with no supports.
Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm.
Layer Height: 1.5 mm.
Infill: At least 50% for maximum sturdiness.
Material: Printed with PLA, but other filaments should work just as well.
How to Use:
After it's done printing, you take it off the build plate, slide the model onto the soda can tap, and then simply push up to open the soda can
