Working Thead Holder v2.0
Print Profile(2)

Description
You should probably go check out the v3.0 release of this thing!
I made some updates and enhancements to my original spool holder I built for my wife. The original was just a block base. This new version uses dovetails to interlock the two pieces. I also increased the strength of the posts by changing the joint at the bottom to be rounded. Not like spools of thread place a lot of stress on the thing, but best practices are best practices for a reason, right? Of course, this also means 2 distinct models - left & right.
A Left & Right pair of these fit together really nicely in the model 11012519 tray from The Container Store, as shown in the pictures. I've also got some little silicone non-slip things on the bottom of the base to keep it from sliding around in the tray.
