Description

My wife loves the Gridfinity-based organizer I made for her desk. Nothing crazy, a couple of pencil cups, a bigger bin for scissors and stuff, and a fun bin that holds USB sticks for her embroidery machine. So, it was time to update the holder she's been using for her working thread spools.

There are 2 sets of models included here. The difference is in the size of the holes for magnets. There's the “tight” versions, where the holes are 6.1mm, and the “loose” ones at 6.2mm. Either way, it's using 6x2mm magnets. Personally, I prefer the “tight” option, though getting the magnets in there can be challenging. I do it using a trigger clamp on the top parts, and I use a big flathead screwdriver on the baseplate. If you do the “loose” version, the magnets might need to be glued into position.
