Description

Simple yet advanced Quest 3 Skadis Mount. Works with both orientations of boards.

Prints very well on any Bambu Printer, and should also work great e.g. with an Ender 3.

The preset profile needs 95 grams of filament and prints in 3 hours.

Painted Version: For Black Boards

Unpainted Version: For White and Wooden Boards

I really like this print, it makes better use of my space, the mounts for the Skadis were sketchy at first but once affixed to the board it is rock solid and also allows the use of bigger headbands like I have instead of the default one from Meta. One side note is that it needs 6 pegs and the print plate only comes with 4, but only took 10 mins to print the other two. Printed on A1.

Print came out really well in regular Bambu Lab black PLA and once you figure out the mounting system (not that it's particularly difficult, but could be documented better :) ), it feels really sturdy. One minor issue I'm having is that removing the controllers usually requires using a finger or your other hand to keep the holder in place because it slides up pretty easily. Or did I overlook something?

Hi, thank you for your feedback! in my experience it's not particularly easy for them to slip out, but that might be a tolerance issue. I might create a new version that is just a tad bit tighter! In terms of documentation I do agree! I might have to make a very short and simple tutorial

I'd be interested in testing out a tighter version :) The holders slide on pretty easily onto the plates in my print. So making the plates a bit bigger could work very well and would require only small reprints.

Sadly, if anything, it'd be new holders! The plates are standardized so other people can adapt them

the model as it self is very good but it does seem very sketchy and wobbly on my SKADIS board. the controllers dont fit the best but they are still hung up. Looks AMAZING on the controller pegboard LOL!

so first of all, the holders themselves are on the wrong sides. just swap them! secondly, is there a reason you didn't slide them in fully? thirdly, why are the pins not twisted in? that looks quite loose

I really like it. also thank you for sharing a template to your mounting system, might come in handy and for lighter items it’s way more convenient then adding T-Nuts on all models.
