Description

Practicing your lock picking while holding a bare KIK cylinder quickly leads to hand cramps. I have one of the Sparrows Revolver cylinders to practice with, and quickly became proficient and learned how to easily pick all four locations. I bought the Sparrows additional cylinders so I could practice different keyways, but that too became easy over time.

To solve this issue, I used Fusion 360 to craft a holder for KIK cylinders so I could practice on the dozens of KIK cylinders I had lying around. It worked for me, hopefully you find this print useful also.

Just slide the KIK cylinder into the holder and pick away. Use a bit of scotch tape on the cylinder if the cylinder is too loose.

NOTE: I've discovered that printing in “outer/inner” wall order results in much more accurate dimensions. Try it on all your prints, you'll love how it makes your prints look so clean.
