Description

Printed and works great. Never used the linkages but they work fine.

I don't recommend more than three linkages. It gets too heavy and sags.

Takes a bit of pressure to snap pieces together.

Use a brim when printing.

This design is good, but installation takes a lot of effort, is there a print-in-place version

Sorry there is no print in place version. Your print looks great though.

What file format are you looking for? STL?

I was hoping to get the actual CAD files like .dwg or .dxf those are easier to modify directly (I think anyhow)

If you tell me the inner diameter of the inlet you need I can post a 3MF for it.

This is exactly what I needed! Thank you. It does require a lot of force to assemble, but it works great. Would have been nice to include the connector outside diameter. For anyone needing to print for a standard 7/8in fitting, just scale the parts to 110.42%.

I made this for a friend. I don’t have any fish so I had no idea what was required other than what he asked me to make. I don’t even know how or what this attaches to. If you leave me a link or a picture, I can perhaps purchase whatever it attaches to so I can create a perfect fit. Thanks for the review.

Hey no worry, you did good man! This part will be used to connect to a filter output, in order to control the direction and the flow of the filtered water. Since these parts can come in a lot of different sizes, my suggestion was to put the current size in the description : External diameter of 18.228mm / 0.72in. In the end, most people will measure it in their slicer and adapt it, no big deal. Here's a quick pic of how I use it in my tank. I "rescued" a betta fish and he really hates heavy flow so I used uour part to fine tune the global current of the tank. I might use your wider attachment in the near future but for now the fish seems happy. Here's the little guy inspecting your model (don't mind the dirty tank).

A bit too much play in the joints but it works okay for what I needed it for

Did you use my print profile? What type of filament did you use? I know if you link too many pieces together that the water pressure will make it sag, but the joints themselves should be fairly tight. It should take quite a bit of pressure to snap them together.

Use PLA and see how that works for you. That’s what the print profile was made for.

I didn't like it it leaks from all connections I'll see if glue fixes it but I don't recommend it

I haven’t had any other complaints about it leaking. Perhaps it has to do with the filament you’re using. Maybe expansion and contraction issue. What type of filament are you using? And did you use my print profile, or did you change any settings?
