Pac-Man Panels (for Boxel)

I designed this using my own "Boxel" model modular box as a base!

Refer to that for more info or to make your own similar box!

Pac-Man turns 3D as he leaps out of the maze to reach the power pellet before the ghosts can reach him!

The power pellet forms the handle by which the lid is lifted.

Printing:

There are ghost panels you must print 4 of (each with a different color for each ghost).

The lid panel is in 2 parts that snap/glue together.

All panels slot into the frame/lid. Glue optional.

Panels were printed at 0.16mm layer height, while the frame/lid were printed at 0.2mm.

Printed on Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle and AMS using the following filaments:

1. Bambu PLA Basic (blue) - frame/lid, base of panels, ghost pupils
2. Bambu PLA Basic (yellow) - Pac-Man body
3. Bambu PLA Basic (jade white) - ghost eyes, pellets
4. Bambu PLA Matte (charcoal) - panel background, pellet stick
5. Bambu PLA Matte (scarlet red) - Blinky ghost
6. Bambu PLA Matte (sakura pink) - Pinky ghost
7. Bambu PLA Matte (ice blue) - Inky ghost
8. Bambu PLA Matte (mandarin orange) - Clyde ghost

Additional Notes:

• I've included an alternate ghost panel that I've not printed, in case you want to try it.
• Panels can make for decent coasters!
• Thicken panel base (Z-axis) if you want a tighter fit.
• I printed the lid and pellet on a smooth plate.
• The images / video used an early version of the box frame that is slightly different than what I've uploaded. It also has printing defects.
• I printed the ghosts so that the layer lines showed horizontally on the top surfaces of them, so as to be reminiscent of scanlines on CRT displays. This does not apply to Clyde though. The Clyde panel in my photos is a prototype with significant differences/defects compared with the other 3 ghost. I figured it's not worth reprinting him because, well… it's Clyde.
