It's clearly a tablet. Or in other words, a small tray to place items on furniture without damaging the furniture, and without small items rolling away. Put a flower pot on it, the petals will be contained. Use it for holding spices so they don't make a mess, use it to load ammo so you don't lose any bullets, etc.

In the photo I see some wrinkles... I had a similar case with some materials and I solved it perfectly by lowering the flow rate from 0.98 to 0.96
