I love the designer&#39;s Elegant Tablet Stand. It&#39;s very stable, both in portrait and landscape (way more than other simplistic stands).  In particular, it works great with my iPad in a case. Major kudos to the original designer.&nbsp;However, at home, I often use my iPad outside of a case. Without a case, the lip of the designer&#39;s version is too high and I cannot access the dock or swipe to switch apps. That was a serious limitation for me and was driving me insane. Ultimately, I decided to reduce the front lip. The stand works perfectly now and it doesn&#39;t seem to have affected the balance or the ability of the stand to hold the tablet in any way that I can see. Further, it works great both with or without a case.&nbsp;It took a few versions to get it just right. Hope you enjoy it!

A simple and elegant tablet stand for large tablets (7&#34; and up).Scaling a <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/750701" rel="nofollow noopener">phone stand</a> to a tablet stand is not trivial. Took me a few revisions, but here it is. Tested it with a 12&#34; in portrait orientation → still very stable.&nbsp;&nbsp;
