Description
IKEA Skadis simple square figurine/model holder with a tapered bottom
- Minimalistic deisgn
- Fits small models and figurines just fine
- Takes up exactly two slots, easily scalable horizontally and sits flush with each other
- Has a tapered shaped bottom so it's more stable
- I've uploaded two print profiles, one is laid down and another sideways. The lay-flat version will lead to a stripped holder surface, due to the nature of the mechanism of 3D printing, and the density of stripes will depend on your settings like nozzle size and layer height; the sideways will print without the stripes but has a high support.
- Has protrudes in the back to attach securely to the lower slots, might need a tiny bit force to push down but stays very well
- Only minimal support on the hook side, very easy to remove
This design is a bit more stable than the flat bottom one (see pic 6), If you want flat surfaces on both sides but a slightly less stable version, it can be found here
The figure itself was a limited run in China with purchase of certain combo meals. Search for Mcdonald Gundam Model on Aliexpress and you'll find plenty, despite only being knockoffs.
