Description

The 2nd dragon in the Armored Series - Leaf Blade.

Ok two dragons in one week, I'm exhausted. haha. I did really enjoy creating my second dragon as I kinda had an idea of how to do it a bit more properly than the first round so here ya go!

The Leaf Blade is all about aerodynamics - the face, snout, eyebrows have all been enhanced to portray maximum speed. Obviously had to keep that grin but looking at it from the front with the more aggressive features its all business. I wanted to do something different with the tail and make it a bit taller than most dragon tail ends - I almost went even higher but liked where I ended up.

Can't wait to see the color combos on this one! Post some pics!! :)

Printing Tips:

This is a medium sized dragon so if you're trying to scale it down I would not print below 70%. When I did 65% the smaller tail joints were starting to get down to single wall thicknesses.

As always - if printing multicolor I'd recommend finding a good fidget cube or something to flush into to reduce waste.

***UPDATED 7/15/24***

For all the Multi-color print profiles I've added a 2nd Plate with a fidget cube used as a flush object. This turns what would have been flushed out as waste during color change purges into a multi colored fidget cube like this:
