Came out very well in Red and Black. I found that the latches wouldn’t close fully and would spring open, until I took the burr off of the latch bar on the lid (pictured) once this was removed, they work well. Thanks

Thanks, you both! 100% the same issue I was having as well, and I thought I wasted filament T~T; added a photo of exactly where I ended up scraping off PLA from the top latch to make it flat.

Ill give you 4 stars cause its a great looking model and others have not had an issue printing but unfortunately mine instantly broke at the clips and hinges were seized and snapped too.

A1 Mini Optimized + Color!!! No AMS Needed

I figured out how to rate stuff! The latches were loose and opened when the box tilts slightly...... idk could have been my settings. I used PLA matte black on a P1S and didnt tweak any settings.

for contacts I didn't really change the design other than optimizing it it's a fault of the original design and I can't really change it without editing in cad about the box tilt I'm not really sure and I'll check mine when I get home again I'm sorry for any inconvenience

it’s a great print but I have the same problem, clasps are very loose and just fall open when tilted.

the tilting was causing by me holding it in the air to show case how the clasps let go / give way. there is no tilting issue, just that the clasps will become undo if the box is tilted about ~15° off vertical axis

A1 Mini Optimized

The model is just great! I’m putting 4 stars for a wrong profile for A1 mini (I have checked a few other ones, they are good) - it is in 1 color only! Ok, I have no problems to print a separate plate in orange, but I’m missing so much that great orange sign on the lid that I expected to have! Aesthetics was one of the biggest reasons I chose this model of battery box, and now it’s all black 😢 Please, can you create a proper A1 mini profile? 🙏

Ran out of black pla midprint and had to use the glow in the dark I were planning to use just for the top icon, might actually have turned out to be even better because of that. Thanks for the great design!

It printed quite well, however, there is a creasing defect on the back of the box.

I reprinted it because the first one had an interesting crease line in the middle. The second did the same. Not sure why. Filament is dry. Bambu Labs H2D. I used auto arrange. I may try moving it to see if it matters but overall, not bad.

Additional update: My coworker has a Bambu P1S and he also printed it, the exact same defect is on his. This is very odd. So I've printed this twice on an H2D and he printed it on the P1S. As the author hasn't replied, I'll have to defer giving this model a boost because although it's nice, the defect is annoying and the author is non-responsive.

I tried it again today. My wife wanted one. Same defect. This is very strange to me. I’ve moved the model to multiple places on the build plate. I'd advise caution if you're expecting this to print perfectly. Multiple materials used, multiple printers used, same result.
