Maskara paper press mould

This mold is used to make a Venetian carnival mask from papier-mâché. Cut and soak pieces of paper in water, blend them into a pulp with an immersion blender, and add a few tablespoons of white glue and mix again. Spread the pulp over the smooth mold and press the perforated mold onto it. Then, in a tub, turn the perforated piece down and press both molds with your full weight to remove as much water as possible. Carefully separate the two molds and let the paper dry. After a few hours, it will be possible to remove the mask from the mold and let it dry completely.
