Description
This Pen Holder is made from the triply periodic minimal surface called Schwarz P.
This surface family was described by Hermann Schwarz in the 1880s and whle the “P” stands for “Primitive” it is anything but that.
Triply peridodic minimal surfaces use as little material as possible to span a given space - just like soap bubbles do.
You can store up to 13 pens vertically or use the horizontal slots as well.
This is the first iteration of the model. While it printed flawless for me on my P1S, the needed supports where surprisingly hard to remove even in PLA. I am not sure if that was caused by the version of Bambu Studio. I will investigate this issue further and possibly make changes to the model as well.
