Description
This is the Gear Rhombo by TNTBA! This is the bigger version of the popular Gear Rhombo JR by TNTBA.
This is shaped like a rhombicosidodecahedron - that's a 50 sided euclid polygon! This is a submission to the math contest on MakerWorld!
This Gear fidget toy is a lot of fun.
Approximate size of this design is: 120mm x 120mm x 120mm.
This is the Free version of the Gear Rhombo which I've licensed for those who wish to sell and print. This will give you the Gear Rhombo and Gear Rhombo JR for the same price! (two files for the price of one!
The time to print and fully assemble is approximately 6 hours.
Gears and core may be printed in any material. Clips were designed to be printed in PETG.
Once the clips are installed, you can place the gears following the numbering located on each gear and core side.
The mechanism to move this toy fidget was inspired by RuvenBals' Gear Ball and Emmett's Gear Cube.
