Horizontal spool holder for Artillery Genius Pro

This model was remixed to fit the Artillery Genius Pro.

This alternative mount is designed to provide more vertical clearance.

The spool rotates freely due to the bearings, although there is some friction on the filament guide.

All non-printable parts such as bearings, screws and shaft can be obtained by disassembling the original spool holder, no need to purchase any parts. Disassembly of spool holder should be done at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage caused by using this model.

1. Disassemble original spool holder
2. For assembly, press fit the 2 bearings in the top and bottom of the rotary plate.
3.  The screw goes through the base plate and screws in to the shaft. (the screw is on the side where 2 tabs stick out)
4. Press the assembled base plate and the filament guide into the slots of the printer.
5. Slide the assembled rotary plate onto the shaft, you can also use the top screw for extra stability, it is not necessary.
6. Screw on filament run-out sensor. (optional if you don't use the run-out sensor)

The filament guide tends to jump out when printing, I suggest gluing it in place or adding a piece of paper or sponge when shoving in the spool brake.
