I’ve designed this pocket-sized fan that’s perfect for cooling devices like smartphones, power banks, cameras, and drones.

This handy gadget fits right in your palm and in your pockets featuring a 3D-printed end cord for ultimate portability. It also includes two slots for magnets, but due to the weight of the required AAA batteries, I might need to use larger magnets.

Inspired by a model I saw on another platform, I’ve created my own version using only Maker’s Supply components. While the fan’s performance is modest because of its small size, it’s a neat little tool for on-the-go cooling!

Assembly it is pretty intuitive any slot fit its component, take a look at the pictures too.

For components just look at list below plus you will need 2x AAA batteries.

If this project is inspired by GokuX in Printable, at least mention it. That project was published on June 16th, 2024. https://www.printables.com/model/914411-tiny-portable-pocket-fan-multipurpose-use

I made it in my dorm and it’s excellent. I am in China so I can not purchase the fan from bambulab, which means that I need to press sh1.0 by my own, however, I do it for the first time, cost a week for buying a plier, and learning how to use it. Though it is a great experience building this. question: how the power distribution board work?

Thanks for feedback great job! For distribution board it basically serves as connector for multiple stuff (fan, battery, buttons, led, etc...) check here https://eu.store.bambulab.com/en-it/products/power-distribution-board-pdb-4-channels?_pos=1&;_sid=042681e51&_ss=r

Awesome little fans to cool my drone VTX while on the bench. I made one out of glow-in-the-dark filament so I can find it by shutting the lights off.

Printed fine! Just waiting for parts now. I would add supports under the fan cutout.

It is a fun print but the fan itself is not very effective. This is to be expected due to the small size of the fan however. It would work for its intended purpose of device cooling but not as useful for humans.
