Description
Here you can find my version of a Mammotion Luba front bumper cover, which I designed from scratch in CAD with following objectives in mind: sturdy, heavy-duty and high impact resistance.
Why another bumper? Well, first of all, there is no free of charge model for a Luba bumper so far. In additon, I also bought 3D printed models from OSA/OSSAA, who offers a lot of Luba accessories on cults3d for sale. Unfortunately, this design is ways to fragile for my garden. After OSA's bumper (even printed by him) has broken and glued several times, I decided to go for my own heavy-duty model of a bumper. But see comparision of versions yourself:
So far, the bumper only was tested on my Luba 1 only. Should work for Luba 2 as well, but I cannot finally verify myself. Happy to receive some feedback from the community.
The STL file has to be mirrored before printing a second time. Print without supports and/or brims. To increase impact resistance, I recommend to print in PETG (like I did).
