Dragon Eye Wand

To all the great magicians! This wand is for you! Use at your own risk…

The wand is inspired by all the great magicians out there (even by the man who can’t be named) and tributing one of the most popular fantasy creatures… Dragons!

There is also a stand where you can place the wand in the eye of a skull. The stand comes with additional space for your most loved magical accessories like pendants or rings.

This project include two grip versions, a grip with a printable dragon eye and a grip with a hole for an 8mm glass dragon eye (You have to buy them separately. I bought mine on Amazon).

Print all parts as you like and glue them together. I used „PLA Glue by 3D Print Lady“. Use your favorite super glue to build this awesome wand.

Attention important hints:

I recommend downloading this project and manage your flushing volume as you prefer if you print this model in multicolor. White needs a lot of flushing to keep it clear on the print. I recommend to place as many items as possible on the buildplate and placing additional “Filament purge” objects on the plate if possible to minimize waste.

Please make sure you choose the correct build plate for the grip you want (with or without printable dragon eye)! I provided pictures where you can see all plates in the project of the print profile. Choose wisely!

The Pike is on a separate plate because it will be printed with variable layer height for the best resolution result.

This project is mostly without supports (The upper grip part needs a small support if you print the version for a seperate 8mm glass dragon eyes)
