This spool holder was designed to be very sturdy and a snug fit, both around the spool and the board itself. Should fit 18 spools per large Skadis board.

I would recommend a small amount of super glue to keep the two pieces together.

Works great for a lot of spool types. Had to modify the ones in the corners, since those little standoffs are in the way. This way i can tightly fit 3x6 of these on a 56x56cm board

The print profile is no longer public

The project is excellent, but the A1 Mini version is wrong, it’s simply a mirrored piece, and therefore the hooks don’t fit. I threw away some PLA. Thank you!

Extremely easy to print, I've printed this in many colors, and it looks fantastic with the filament stored on top in a sealed bag.

(A1 Mini vers) I haven’t glued it together yet but it looks great! I had some troubles with the supports for the hooks coming off on the second piece, had to sand it down quite a bit but all is well. Did a test to see where I wanted it on my skadis and realized the hooks may be on the wrong side? I believe it should be 3-2-3 and not 3-3-2 as it doesn’t fit on the board like that. I printed the first plate a couple of weeks ago and the second plate I printed today. I’m not sure if it got updated and I should reprint the first piece or if it’s still a bit wonky? still a good design overall though :)

That seems a bit strange, both pieces should be the same size so it looks like the smaller piece didn’t finish printing and that is why the hooks look wrong. does the inside surface on the smaller piece look finished or can you still see the infill?

you can still see the infill, just looked at my printing history and realized it probably didn’t finish and I thought it did? I’ll try printing plate 1 again later in the day and see if that works better! I’ll come back to update my post when all is finished, Thank you!

reprinted it earlier and it works! definitely just had to finish the one piece haha still some issues with getting supports off and having to sand the hooks down but overall v good!
