Support for Bambulab AMS Lite
General Description: The support for the Bambulab AMS Lite, designed and created by me, addresses the need to optimize desk space. It was entirely designed and 3D printed using a Bambulab A1 printer.
Materials:
- Main Structure: Printed in PETG, known for its strength and durability.
- Support Components: Printed in PLA, which offers a good balance between printability and strength.
Design and Functionality:
- Main Structure: Green in color, C-shaped, providing strength and robustness to the piece.
- Support Components: Purple in color with triangular holes, reducing weight without compromising strength.
- Clamping Screw: Black, with a knob to securely attach the support to a surface. This ensures the support remains in position during use.
- Modular Assembly: The bolts and nuts facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the support, making it easy to transport and adjust.
- Extra Components: Two M5 screws with self-locking nuts and four oversized washers are used to avoid tightening everything onto the plastic, ensuring a stable and durable connection.
Usage and Advantages:
- Space Optimization: Specifically designed for desks with limited space, the support allows the AMS Lite to be used without compromising the work area.
- Stability and Usability: Keeps the AMS Lite well-positioned and stable, preventing unwanted movement during use.
- Portability: Thanks to the modular design, the support is easy to disassemble and transport.
- Robustness: The C-shaped main structure, combined with the use of PETG, ensures that the support is strong and durable.
Conclusion: Your custom support for the Bambulab AMS Lite is not only functional and robust but also perfectly addresses the need to optimize desk space. The combined use of materials such as PETG and PLA, along with extra components like screws and washers, demonstrates excellent attention to detail and practical needs. An excellent example of how custom design can improve the efficiency and organization of the workspace.
