Update with better hex quality printing, mproved seams, and a single mesh layer, you could probably increase the height of the first layer :-)
120mm Hex Mesh Fan Filter with 5mm x 1mm magnet snap-in
I am too lazy to wait for fan filter for my new PC after ordering @ amazon.
Then my brain said “DO IT! MAKE IT! PRINT IT!”….. OK,,, I do,,, spending 10min for design mainly confirm the standard dimention of 120mm fan, then print it….wait little bit…..
DONE! It works without issue!!!!
BOM: 5mm x 1mm magnet x 4pcs
I strongly recomnend
- perform bed leveling before printing due to precise mesh design.
- print it with X1 or P1 to see act hex hole. (As as demo I put the picture printed with A-1 mini and its base profile) A1 and A1-mini is OK and so so but not be the perfect as I tried act models.
- printing slowly for 1st layer, keep line width 0.42mm all, initial layer hight 0.3mm.
- Cross the finger :)
