Description

What's better than a giant bottle cap? Why a ginormous bottle cap of course!
 

(Sunset Sarsaparilla variant)

 

I was told my old bottle cap was not big enough, so now I've pushed the limits of your build plate. This ginormous cap span a whole 245mm (~9.65 in.)!

Printed in Pla, Bambulab la, very sturdy. I just mirrored the file so I can use the cap as a candy bowl.

how did you manage that? having a hard time here getting it to adhere to a plate and print correct once flipping it. first time trying to modify anything. tyia!

Maxed out the bed on my H2D. almost 12” across. Did I win the biggest print award?!? 🤣 Also - nice print - it’s gonna look great on the wall!

woah! that's awesome! do share a picture of it mounted! (but you really should do my led version - though I guess I gave to redesign it since scaling won't work for the base... sadly don't have an H2D so I can't test print it...

it doesn’t have a wall hanger so I drilled a couple of tiny holes and ran a wire. it would be nice to have a plastic piece inside to wall hang. I’m happy to test a print for you and upload an H2D profile to help out!

great print. used esun pla+ red and white. last red layer and side was done in a Silk RED/BLACK pla

Wow, I really like how it looks with silk, great idea! Don't you get adhesion issues between silk and regular PLA? I've had trouble bonding them. That was Bambu Lab filament though.

I would never steal some ones work. the results were good enough for me swapping out other caps. not really good enough to publish and your license does not allow for it.
