Description

A simple plug-in system for better lighting inside the printer.

The models that I found were too big for me or lighting should be "complicated" controlled via controller.

I added two options - with an extra routing for using an external cabling and without routing for using the internal USB port.

I use a 8, - € LED Stripe from Amazon glued.

All components are simply plugged together.

The sidebars have several countersinks, in these will be able to be melted into the thread and thus further modifications can be easily added later. I am using the M3 threads from Ruthex (www.ruthex.de).

In addition, I added two vents in the front area to allow for a bit of heat dissipation.

Further extensions, matching the threads on the frame will follow.

Very nice design. Just did a small change to the front peace so I could use the button on my LED-strip.

Love it :) But the vent parts are too small. I think I have to rescale them a little bigger. Is that the reason you only provided 1 of them in the .3mf file? :D

it worked for me, but lucky4meman scaled it to 101% and then it fits perfectly - he wrote in the comments.

Yah I did that ofc .) I would recommend to try and rework the vent piece completely. So it is one piece and not a pressfit :) (a little spring action or only a few friction points would make it much easier to use). But all in all I really like the design!

Plate 1 came out excellent with PLA CF I loved it. But the vents in the front not a big fan of that design made from teo parts. It could use some vents on the side as well. Overall is a good design. Minimum rise and vent for such a printer.

how do you get the vent covers to stay in? I’m reprinting the covers and that whole section to see if it was just a bad print possibly? But right now, they fit so loose that they just fall out

I reprinted the front bar with vent holes and the ventilation main body/ handles and they still don't want to seem to stay in. If the machine isn't printing they will, but as soon as it slightly moves, they fall out. I'm going to try to print the ventilation main body and handle at 101% and see if it fits in there more snug. The riser itself is great though! Added in the LEDS and I can finally see everything inside the printing area.
