After extensive testing and usage, I discovered that gears with a module of 1.5 are an excellent choice for the long-term use of 3D-printed components. They represent a specification that strikes a balance between strength and volume. Therefore, I have designed a set of commonly used gears, including Spur Gears, Internal Gears, Rack Gears, 90° Bevel Gear, Worm, and Worm Gears, which can effectively meet daily requirements.

經過長期測試和使用，模數1.5的齒輪是3D打印零件能長期使用的較好選擇，是強度和體積比較平衡的規格，所以我設計了一套常用的套装，包括正齒輪、内齒輪、90°斜齒轮、蜗杆和蜗杆齿轮，能够基本满足日常需要。

Precautions 注意事项

3D printed gears cannot withstand high-speed movement; plastic gears possess a certain degree of self-lubrication and achieve better smoothness after running-in. If lubricants are necessary, please select plastic-specific lubricants;

If you do not seek a specific speed ratio, it is recommended to choose a number of teeth with no common factor for the meshing gears, leading to more even gear wear and a longer lifespan;

PLA exhibits better deformation resistance compared to PETG;

To ensure strength, please utilize lower speeds and a smaller layer height during printing;

The thickness of the gear and the length of the connecting rod can be obtained by adjusting the dimensions within the slicing software. Modifications to the gear, such as adding parts or negative parts, can be made without altering the tooth surface to meet your specific needs.

3D打印的齿轮不能承受高速的运动；塑料齿轮有一定的自润滑性，经过磨合有较好的顺滑度，如果需要润滑剂请选择塑料专用润滑剂；

如果不追求特定的转速比，互相啮合的齿轮建议选择没有公因数的齿数，这样齿轮磨损更均匀，有更高的寿命；

PLA比PETG有更好的抗变形能力；

为了确保强度，请使用较低的速度和较小的层高打印；

齿轮的厚度，连接杆的长度，可以在切片软件中通过尺寸改变来获得。在不改变齿面的情况下也可以通过添加零件或负零件等，来调整齿轮适用你的需求。

Reminder:

• Different filaments may cause the parts to be too loose or too tight, and may also make some supports difficult to remove.
• The position of the model printing takes into account strength and appearance (for example: vertical surfaces have better fineness and better representation of patterns and text; horizontal printing axes sacrifice accuracy but have better strength).
• Please keep the printing plate clean. All models are confirmed to be printable. It's not my fault if it turns into spaghetti.
• It is recommended that you equip yourself with a heat gun. Slightly heating the parts can solve many minor problems and can also compensate for minor part tolerances.
