Not exactly what you intended but the model was very useful. I took it and sliced it in half and spun the clip around and added a bit of height to hold a banner to a glass door. Sizes just happened to match and it works perfectly. Printed it on its side with slim tree supports so the layers match the flex direction, gave it a good bit of back/forth tugging and it held up well. We will see how it endures the heat. (forgot you have to rate from a different place, gave it 5 stars separately from this comment)

perfect gadget edit: it broke after few days of use (layer delamination). I will try to print it sideways so it can take the (expected) strain

The default geometry doesn't require supports but is going to be prone to breaking due to the layer orientiation relative to the strain direction that will likely occur on the object. I think that rotating the print 90 degrees and using supports is a judicious choice. But overall, seems like a nice model and it printed well!

good idea, just have to change how it’s orientated on plate due to layer lines causing weak spot
