Throat Insert Plate for Ridgid Saw MS1290LZA \ LZ1

Description
I searched far and wide for a replacement throat plate or a 3D model of a throat plate for Ridgid Saw MS1290LZA, to no avail. The model was discontinued. The old plates became brittle and broke apart. This design is much stronger and more durable than the original. I suggest printing in PETG as PLA may be prone to shattering during a kickback, for example.
This throat plate fully occupies the recess in the saw table to avoid build-up of sawdust around its edges. The saw requires two identical plates.
Update 04/27/2025: Added two STL files that include dovetail connectors created in Fusion (see file descriptions below) as well as a 3mf print project for them.
The throat plate is 19.25in long (489mm), designed in inches. Use the one-piece model ("Ridgid_Throat_Insert.stl") if your print bed is large enough for it.
But because my Prusa MK4 is too small to print the model in one piece, I created a second model with two pieces joined via dovetail ("Ridgid Throat Insert Long.stl" and “Ridgid Throat Insert Short.stl”). Both parts together will just barely fit on the MK4 bed provided you place them diagonally on the print bed as done in the the 3mf file. A little CA (super glue) can be applied at the dovetails during assembly.
With only three screws for the two-piece part in situ, one of the two pieces has only one screw to hold it down but it is secure.
It took about 3.5 hours to print with 0.4 nozzle (2.75 hours with 0.6 nozzle) using these settings:
Printer: Bambu A1
Filament: Bambu PETG Basic
Slicer: Used default Bambu Studio settings, while increasing bottom shell layers to 6 and infill to 40% for strength.
Supports: Not needed when printing with the screw slots facing up as done in the 3mf file.
The picture with the plates installed shows a missing screw (dropped and lost in the grass during installation) but they still worked well.
Files (STL files were designed in inches, so you may be prompted to convert to mm upon opening):
Ridgid_Throat_Insert.stl: Throat plate in one single piece)
Ridgid_Throat_Insert_Long (1of2).stl: Throat plate long piece w/dovetail connector
Ridgid_Throat_Insert_Short (2of2).stl: Throat plate short piece w/dovetail connector
Ridgid_Throat_Insert-Dovetail (PrusaSlicer).3mf: PrusaSlicer project file with the two throat plate pieces above having the dovetail connectors on a single print plate
