Description

My 9200-8e was getting a little hot, and I couldn't find any fan adapter's for it's tiny heatsink. I decided to make my own to fit these 40mm fans I already had, available here from Amazon:

MakerFocus 4pcs 3D Printer Fan 12V, 40mm 12 Volt Fan 0.08A DC Mini Quiet Cooling Fan 40X40X10mm with 28cm Cable for 3D Printer, DVR and Other Small Appliances Series Repair Replacement

The above fan is a two pin fan, you can use an adapter, or just attach it directly to the power and ground pins of a 3 pin or 4 pin fan adapter, of course you won't get fan speed controls that way.

To attach the fan to the card, simply slide the holder over the fan and clip it to the heatsink, it should hold it relatively loosely. If you like, you can use some M3 screws to hold the fan to the adapter.
