Description

Galaxy Invader by CCL battery battery cover by Ambrose Clarke

Made in TinkerCad in from measurements taken from personal Console that was missing the cover for years.

Print in a High Quality as details are necessary for it to clip on properly.
I printed on Bambu x1c - in Fine Quality with PLA on a smooth bed - takes about 30 minutes.

Galaxy Invaders, was based on the popular arcade game Space Invaders.
It was a white-coloured, narrow console with a big red "firing" botton on the right and a metallic silver joy-stick on the left. It was battery-operated and the idea was to destroy the invading aliens before they reached ground level. You also got extra points for shooting down a UFO.
It had three levels of competency. The graphics and the sound effects were all very basic, with an annoying buzzing noise for the UFO!
Best played in the dark, as then one could appreciate the illuminated graphics more
