Description

Hi everyone 👋,

This container is designed for the IKEA Skadis Boards using the T-Clip system mounting.

It roughly measures ~23.5cm (width) x ~12.5cm (depth / front to back), ~10cm at its highest point and ~6cm at its lowest point.

This model is using the Skadis T-Clip System for mounting. If you choose to not use the included print profile, you will need to print your own T-Clips. The T-Clips included in the profile are the T-Clip for Painted Skadis.stl ones.

The container has 2mm walls resulting in a total of about 250g of filament, so a bit on the “heavy” side, but I really like the “quality” feel of it.

I was inspired by the Skadis slanted 5 sectioned container which I initially wanted to remix to use the T-Clip System, but I encountered some issues with some fillets, so gave up and started this one from scratch.

awesome case for stuff. i haven't think of what to put yet. just improvising. do print the t-clip. the ones with the plate is better suited to this profile than the usual t-clip

My only issue was that, having such a large print bed surface area, I did get some lifting on the corners with the PEI textured plate. I printed this with BL PETG HF. The second pic is the layer shift due to the edge lifting.

Hi 👋! Thanks a lot for your 5 stars rating despite your print issues. I only printed in PLA, but I can confirm I had an extremely minor corner lifting when using a BL PLA Tough filament. I noticed this was on a corner close to the auxiliary fan. I was able to fix this by lowering the auxiliary fan (to 20% I believe) and washing the PEI textured plate with dish soap and warm water just before the print. I never printed with PETG HF, but in my limited experience with regular PETG, it was more sensible to humidity than PLA. I cannot tell if this can play a factor in your issue with this.
